Day 1
I was inspired by this tumblr to get back in shape. So Larry, thank you.
Lemme tell you a bit about myself. I am 27, currently working at a local university (which is conveniently my Alma mater). During my studies, I was an super active student. I played almost any games (save swimming coz I can’t float fo shit), I even repping the varsity’s hockey team. Love doing outdoor and community stuff (I just love the spotlight, not the cause-omg I hate people).
I used to be in a top physical condition. I can run for miles and never really bitching about it unlike my friends who seems to be allergic to running.
I was a 5 10 and 154 lbs, which is just ideal.
Unlike many others, my weight issue is that I have some difficulties gaining weight. Mt weight fluctuates between 132 to 165 lbs, mainly because I simply don’t like to eat unless I’m really really hungry. Plus, I kinda have a high metabolism, I sweat so much, especially when I’m sleeping. I have to switch pyjamas/sleeping t-shirt/bed sheet (if I sleep shirtless) almost every day or my bed will reeks to heaven.
Just now, I purchased a pair of running shoes, a yoga mat, 1000mg Vitamin C tables (for energy boosting purposes) and skipping rope to start my regime. I planned to start slow like a week or so before I go to the gym, so that I don’t have to embarrass myself in front of the condescending stares of them gym bunnies.
So this is my plan:
1.rope jump = 10 minutes
2.Push-ups = 15 reps
3.Sit up = 30 reps
I know it’s very pussified, but waking in the middle of the night with the horrendous leg cramp (which I suffered a lot during my sporting days) is not fun at all.
Keep in mind that the fasting month is like a month away, and as a Muslim I have to fast, which is another weight gaining obstacle I have to endure. My main objective is to look hot during eid mubarak festivities which is like 2 months from now. I’m going to be (if not already) so full of myself.
Oorahh!!
